The Yosemite High School Badgers Girls basketball players are participating this summer in various events as the “Y” basketball club.
The team recently went to the University of Pacific and played five games, four of them in the 6,000-seat Spanos Arena. They won four of the five games, beating Capital Christian of Sacramento, Millenium of Tracy, Gregori from Modesto, and Patterson. They lost to Lincoln of Stockton.
On Saturday, the ream rode the BART train into San Francisco, went to Pier 39, and rode on the famous cable cars.
The “Y” team will play in the 24-team Ventura Tournament on June 25-26, and will attend the UC San Diego Team Camp July 15-17.
