Badger Youth Sports Camp will be offered 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., June 15-18, at the Yosemite High campus. The camp is open to current third-eighth grade boys and girls, looking for an introduction to learning basic skills about a variety of sports, with the focus on a positive first step in athletics.
“The essentials of volleyball, basketball, golf, and tennis will be taught in a well-structured atmosphere with lots of encouragement,” said Pat Lynch, camp director and Yosemite High assistant football coach. “The camp also will give participants a great way to stay active, while meeting new friends and learning new sports.”
The cost is $105 per student (family rates available), and includes a camp t-shirt, instruction on sports fundamentals, lunch, and snacks.
Participants are asked to bring comfortable workout clothes, socks, tennis shoes (no sandals), and a swim suits. A medical release is required.
