Youth basketball camp June 15-18
A basketball camp for boys and girls in grades 3-8 will be held at the 9 a.m. - noon, June 15-18, at the Yosemite High School cafeteria-gym.
Players will learn the fundamentals of individual and team basketball. Registration is $50 which includes a t-shirt and may be paid on the first day of camp.
This camp will be conducted at the same time but separately from the Yosemite Youth All Sports Camp which will feature multiple sports.
Badger Youth Spots Camp
Badger Youth Sports Camp will be offered 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., June 15-18, at the Yosemite High campus. The camp is open to current third-eighth grade boys and girls, looking for an introduction to learning basic skills about a variety of sports, with the focus on a positive first step in athletics.
“The essentials of volleyball, basketball, golf, and tennis will be taught in a well-structured atmosphere with lots of encouragement,” said Pat Lynch, camp director and Yosemite High assistant football coach. “The camp also will give participants a great way to stay active, while meeting new friends and learning new sports.”
The cost is $105 per student (family rates available), and includes a camp t-shirt, instruction on sports fundamentals, lunch, and snacks.
Participants are asked to bring comfortable workout clothes, socks, tennis shoes (no sandals), and a swim suits. A medical release is required.

Badger cross country camp
Badger Distance Camp - for Yosemite High School cross country runners will be held June 22-25.
The cost is $35 for the four-day overnight camp that includes instruction, running, swimming, camping, meals, and T-shirt. All YHS and incoming freshman cross country runners are invited.
A maximum of 40 runners will be accepted to the camp. Students can sign-up at the YHS student store.
