Former Badger and Major League Baseball pitcher Ted Lilly will return to Oakhurst to play in this Saturday’s YHS Alumni Baseball Game benefiting the YHS baseball program, and the Yosemite Colts travel team.

Check-in and batting practice will be held at 10:30 a.m., and the game gets underway at 1 p.m., at the YHS varisty baseball field.

About 25 YHS alumni are expected to play in the game. In addition to Lilly, “Old Timers” in the game include Corey Miller, Bob Denson, Sam Duvall, Michael Lagow, Ryan Olson, and Shawn Spurgeon.

“Young Guns” include Derek O’Reilly, Stewart Carlson, Trevor Smith, and Alex Burgeno.

All the players and other baseball supporters are invited to participate in a poker tournament ($50 buy in) at 5 p.m. after the game, at the Oakhurst Community Center.

The fundraiser game and poker tournament is sponsored by the Yosemite Baseball Boosters Club.
