Chili Cook-Off

The Yosemite Badgers Youth Football program is inviting businesses and individuals to register ($40 per team) for the second annual Chili Cook-Off that will be held noon - 4 p.m., May 30, at the Oakhurst Community Center. Cash prizes will be awarded in both divisions.

The public will be invited to the tasting, with awards being announced at 3 p.m. A silent auction will be held and a DJ will provide dance music.

Tickets to the event cost $10 for adults - $5 for children (6-12) - Children five and under are free.

Babe Ruth clinic Saturday

Yosemite Gateway Babe Ruth will hold a free clinic 9 a.m - noon this Saturday at Minarets High School. Babe Ruth is for players 12-15 years of age. The clinics will specialize on all aspects of the game through the month of May. Players will have the opportunity to learn all positions including pitching.

Teams will be formed in the next two weeks and will play in the Cotton League with other Babe Ruth leagues throughout the Valley. The season consist of 16 to 24 games, with a playoff format at the conclusion of the season. Babe Ruth starts at the conclusion of the high school season.

YHS Alumni Baseball Game

The 2015 Yosemite High School Alumni Baseball game will take place Saturday, May 16 at YHS Baseball diamond.
