The Oak Creek Intermediate School Raiders girls basketball team capped off their third consecutive undefeated season with a 10 point win against second place Wasuma Elementary at the recent Maintain Area Tournament. The Raiders were lead by a strong group of eighth graders, including Hailey Rich and Grace Fries who dominated the paint all season, and guards Trinity Curtis, Linnea Leinau, Izzy Peter and Natalie Lawerence who played well on both offense and defense. The Raiders opened up the tournament with a 30 point win against Spring Valley, followed up by a 12 point win against Wasuma. Wasuma then came back through the losers bracket to make it to the championship game in the double elimination tournament. Wasuma defeated Coarsegold (third place) to set up the rematch with Oak Creek.
