YHS softball team beaten 13-0

The Yosemite High School softball team could not get a hit, and committed three errors on its way to being shut-out by Fresno High 13-0 on March 20. The winning pitcher was Sofia Garcia and the the loss went to Amy Whitcombs.

The Badgers are home March 26 against Riverdale at 3:30 p.m.

Sierra Meadows back to seven-days a week

The Sierra Meadows Golf Course in Ahwahnee will be open seven-days a week starting March 30.

In a cost-saving move, the course was closed Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter months.

2015 Native Rays Two-Person Golf Classic

The Native Rays Two-Person Golf Classic will be held May 16-17, at Eagle Springs Golf and Country Club located on Friant Road.

The tournament is USGA GHIN required and each two-person team must have a combined team handicap of 12 or greater.

Cost of the two day tournament is $450 per team and includes green fees, cart, range, tee prize, net and gross awards. Deadline for payments is May 8. Make checks payable to Native Rays.

Yosemite High School was unable to play their final game against Kerman due to the hazardous driving weather conditions in the area, but were still able to claim their second consecutive undefeated season of NSL play.
