Bob Siebenberg has been named the new Yosemite High School varsity baseball coach for the 2014-15 spring season.
Siebenberg was previously part of the YHS baseball program during its heyday. During his previous experience here at YHS, the JV program won five league championships in seven years while Siebenberg coached the team and the varsity team won nine league titles and four CIF Central Section titles.
“We believe Bob has the experience, knowledge, and ability to bring out the best in our athletes,” Michelle Chenowith, YHS athletic director said. “With his leadership, we are confident our baseball program will grow to be a dominate force in the future.”
Siebenberg replaces John McMillen who stepped down as head coach after 11 years of leading the Badgers.
McMillen coached a number of players that went on to play college baseball including Jackson Glines, and Brad Rolff, and a number that played at the NAIA, and the community college level.
