Nate Hodges picked up his 10th top logger trophy to highlight last weekend’s 59th annual Mid-Sierra Loggers Jamboree celebrating the North Fork community’s logging history.

The event took place July 7-8 at the North Fork Recreation Center and included competitions in axe throwing, birling, power saw, tree falling and double-hand bucking.

Hodges, owner of All Phase Construction in North Fork, won for the third straight year and is three shy of Jim Taylor’s record 13 overall wins.

The top logger is determined by points accumulated in all of the Sunday events.
