Yosemite’s Eames, Bernardi cap prep basketball careers in all-star games

Yosemite High graduates Cannon Eames and Allison Bernardi capped their high school basketball careers June 30 in the 48th annual City/County All-Star games.

Billed as the All-Star Extravaganza, the event featured doubleheaders for both boys and girls at Fresno City College. Players were selected by coaches in an NBA-style draft.

Eames’ East team lost to the West boys 121-90. Eames, who earlier played in two all-star football games, scored eight points.

Bernardi’s West girls lost 56-48 to the East, with Bernardi scoring two points.
