Wildfires largest polluter of all
Dear Editor,
It occurred to me that the Air Pollution Control District may have the resources and personnel to begin their financial involvement in what is easily the largest gross polluter in California.
Whereas they fuss over details of winery CO2 expulsion, diesel pump, car, truck and tractor particulates, and dust from construction and agricultural, they all but ignore the complete undoing of all other air cleanup efforts by wild fires.
I would suggest that some queries be made into the APCD budget and possible funds available to help prevent fires, and, therefore, pollution, through proper forestation management. Are they really for cleaner air or not (cough, cough)?
