Outstanding musicians

Dear Editor,

In previous issues of the Sierra Star, a small notice under “Music” announces the Emerald Duo’s concert on Friday evening in Oakhurst. For people who like classical music, I highly recommend this duo from Auberry. Susan Doering, violinist, and Dieter Wulfhorst, cellist, are outstanding musicians. They reveal their joy in the music and in each other as they play. I have heard them many times, and they always play music that is pleasing to the audience.

Even though the music they have chosen is by unknown composers, I expect it to be thoroughly appealing. The performance is at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m., this Friday, Jan. 30. I encourage music lovers to attend this very interesting concert.
