Disagrees with Trump, supporters
Time to sweep away all of Trump’s puppets. We need representatives who care about health care, infrastructure, climate change, science, and tax structures that benefit those most in need, not one that further widens the gap between the one and ninety-nine percent.
We need elected officials who not only promote moral authority but practice it rather than fan the flames of division causing some who listen to this poison to mail pipe bombs and shoot innocent people in their place of worship or in a grocery store.
We need a government who places principle above personal profit and realizes that the butchering of a journalist cannot be tolerated.
Yes, it is time to Make America Moral Again and release the poison from our system, whether it be the main source or those who look the other way.

Former fire chief: Endorsing Moreno
The position of District Attorney is critical to the safety and security of all Madera County residents. It necessitates an immense amount of time to gain the experience and qualifications required to be an effective District Attorney.
Sally Moreno is the only candidate who has been a police officer, a military veteran and a prosecutor for over 20 years. She is prepared to take this vital leadership responsibility on day one. She will bring back the much-needed respect to the office because she is a person of unquestionable character and integrity.
In her years as a prosecutor, she had worked with law enforcement leaders in this area. They know her character and work ethic. That is why District Attorneys in neighboring counties, our Sheriff Jay Varney and every other Madera Sheriff, Mariposa Sheriff Doug Binnewies, and many senior law enforcement managers in Chowchilla, Madera, and the Sheriff’s Department have endorsed her. See a list at Sally4da.com
Sally Moreno will create a strong and successful organization. Her priorities will be to 1) to keep victims of crime safe by incarcerating serious and violent felons, 2) provide leadership and mentorship from the front to rebuild the DA’s office, 3) find and develop new effective ways to keep Madera County safe.
It is my pleasure to support and vote for Sally Moreno for Madera County District Attorney.

Believes McClintock is climate change denier
Wildfires are getting bigger, stronger, and more frequent. Six of the most destructive wildfires in California’s history have occurred in just the past ten months. Ninety-seven percent of the world’s scientists agree the major cause of increased fires is global warming. Our Congressman Tom McClintock doesn’t want to believe them. He is a climate change denier.
McClintock insists that “the climate has been changing for 4 1/2 billion years. The extent to which human activity has a role to play is being hotly debated right now.”
Meanwhile, as the floods, fires, and hurricanes keep getting worse, the USA is the only nation that’s withdrawn from the Paris Climate Agreement and the fight against global warming. Time is running out.
Challenging McClintock for his seat is Democrat candidate Jessica Morse. She says: “Forest fires don’t ask whether you are a Republican or Democrat, they impact the entire community all the same.
“Whether it’s drought, fire prevention, or 120 million trees dying in the forest, or renewable energy… McClintock’s still arguing about whether climate change is real.”
Morse says McClintock has blocked funding for forest fire prevention. She believes making small forward-looking investments in prevention saves money in the long run. And homes.
And scientists now warn that if drastic action isn’t taken within the next ten years, global warming caused weather disasters will be with us forever. This coming November election can be a decisive turning point, bringing us back into alignment with the Paris Climate Agreement, back into alignment with our truest local, national, and global values.
Jessica Morse thinks the district will be better off if we stopped electing politicians and start electing public servants.
We must vote for change NOW. Before the fire reaches our doorstep.
