I am voting for David Linn for district attorney because he fights for his clients and is known as a "bulldog attorney." He is serious, tenacious and thorough. He fights for his clients rights in and out of the courtroom. The seriousness is evident by the way he does research gathering evidence and fighting for his client in the court room. His tenacity is most evident when cross examining witnesses.
I watched him once in a deposition where he totally flustered the defendant and his attorney. David has a reputation for being a very competent and ethical attorney. This is what I want in a district attorney. I also want a District Attorney from the mountains who knows our problems and concerns. What about you?
Despite his bulldog reputation he has a soft and giving heart when working in the community. For 40 years he has served as a leader in many local groups. In 1989 he was honored as Man of the Year by Eastern Madera County Chamber of Commerce. In 1988 he was the Republican nominee in the race for the 18th Congressional District. He works for many individuals and organizations, without pay.
He greatly assisted the North Fork Community Development Committee with significant legal advice. He won a law suit for the North Fork Squirrel Cage Theatre without being fully paid.
Linn's leadership and drive will bring integrity, honesty and thoroughness to the District Attorney's office for Madera County. David leads by example and the District Attorney's office will be a better place to work with his leadership, which is now an office in turmoil. I want a DAs office that will get more convictions and get the bad guys off the streets. Do you? If so, vote for David Linn.
