Arlene Wells died June 30, 2015 at the age of 77. She was born Feb. 8, 1938, in Bay City, Mich., to Bill and Violet DeRusha.
A Mountain Area resident for 38 years, Mrs. Wells was a real estate broker, and enjoyed reading, tole painting, pine-needle basket making, camping, flying in an Ultra-lite, and she loved to boogie board with her grandchildren. She was involved with Mountain Christian Center, and Jobs Daughters.
Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth; her daughters Wendy Brush and spouse David of Boulder Creek, and Robin Langille and spouse Steve of Carroll, Ohio; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; and sister Caroline Adams.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., July 11, at Mountain Christian Center. Remembrances can be made in her name to American Diabetes Assoc., 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, Virg., 22311.
