Gladys Ann Petersen | Sierra Star

Gladys Ann Petersen died Dec. 20, 2014 at the age of 77. She was born to Edward and Mabel LaComb in Utica, New York, and relocated to California in 1960. She was a North Fork resident for 29 years.

Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker for 30 years, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Oakhurst. She enjoyed tending her houseplants, and feeding the wildlife from her front porch.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George “Pete.” She is survived by her children, Robert Dibble of North Fork, Pamela Douglas and spouse Kevin of Sontag, Miss., and Brenda Roth and spouse Tim of Miss; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Mississippi.
