Virginia Marie Anderson died Dec. 17, 2014 at the age of 98. She was born to Jewell and Richard on Feb. 5, 1916 in Jamestown, NY.
Ms. Anderson never married, was a beautician at her own beauty shop in West Covina until age 65. She lived in “The Village” Grandmother’s Club in Coarsegold for 20 years, and then in Selma.
She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and poetry, and was involved with the Lutheran Church Women’s Bible Study.
Ms. Anderson is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother Dennis of Llion, NY, and her sister, Carol Bass of Vista; many nieces and newphews, and godchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Oakhurst Lutheran Church.
