Sheriff asks for help in search of wanted O’Neals man

Madera County Sheriff John Anderson is asking for the public’s help to locate Pasquale Desantis, 38, who reportedly resides in Madera and Fresno County. He is wanted on numerous felony charges in both counties.

Detectives completed serving a search warrant at his hone located on Road 200 in O’Neal’s Tuesday afternoon , to recover property, which included a large collection of stolen vehicles.Since May, law enforcement officials, from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office and the Fresno California Highway Patrol H.E.A.T Team, have been working together on a vehicle theft ring case after deputies discovered a vast collection of vehicles and other personal property during an unrelated criminal investigation.

A little over a month ago, the sheriff’s office received two separate complaints of women being held against their will on the suspects’ property in O’Neal’s.

Numerous attempts to contact Desantis failed. However deputies were able to determine the property found stored on the O’Neal’s land was stolen — much of it from the Fresno area.With search warrant in hand, sheriff’s deputies, along with Fresno aAuthorities, returned to the residence today Tuesday) to recover the stolen goods, and take Desantis into custody. Deputies were unable to locate him.

Sheriff Anderson believes Desantis could be somewhere in Madera County, Fresno County or possibly Mariposa County.

Apart from numerous felony warrants issued for his arrest in Fresno, Desantis is also a suspect in four separate Madera County cases. They include:

1. False imprisonment and threaten crime with intent.

2. Domestic violence and threaten crime with intent.

3. Receiving known stolen property.

4. False imprisonment, threaten crime with intent, robbery and weapons charges.
