February HOW Dinner

This month’s Helping One Woman Dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 20 at The Hitching Post, 42592 Highway 49, in Ahwahnee. All of the proceeds will go to Yvonne Boiteux, a North Fork native since 1991.

Boiteux suffers from microscopic collagenous colitis, a disease in which a thick layer of protein develops in colon tissue, according to the Mayo Clinic. She has lived with the disease for five years and the treatment for it has created a number of other health complications.

The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and will help pay for Boiteux’s medical expenses through silent auctions and prize drawings. A $10 minimum monetary gift is required to attend.

Prize drawing, silent auction items or gifts payable to Boiteux can be donated in the days leading up to dinner at Tokens, 40410 Highway 41, in Oakhurst.
