Women’s devotional, tea and luncheon

The Yosemite New Life Church of the Nazarene will hold a free Women’s Devotional Time, Tea and Salad Luncheon 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Jan. 6.

Bring a craft project to work on during this time of fellowship, encouragement and connection for women of all ages. A “learn to paint” opportunity will also be available.

The church is located at 40390 Junction Dr (top of the hill behind Grocery Outlet).

Town Hall

Madera County District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler will hold his first Town Hall meeting of the new year, 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11 at the Oakhurst Community Center.

Zen 101

Bodhi Oak Zen Sangha will host Zen 101: Learn to Meditate, 6-7:30 p.m., Jan. 10, at Bodhi Oak Zen Center, 40879 Highway 41, Suite 1-l, in Oakhurst.

Refreshments will be served, and donations are gratefully accepted, but not required.

Grandmothers Club

The California Grandmothers Club will hold a Bingo and soup and salad luncheon, noon, Jan. 27. Cost is $5 per person.

The event will be held at the Village Clubhouse, 46777 Oonay Nation, in Coarsegold.
