Sierra Tel is closing down its Oakhurst Business Center in two months.

The location will officially close on May 31.

“Now in our 21 st Century environment of digital technology, online shopping, paperless transactions and more, the majority of our customer’s and our community’s needs have changed,” Sierra Tel says in a news release. “We now find that the level of community demand no longer exists to support continued operation of the Business Center.”

The business center, located in Old Mill Village Shopping Center, was the only full-service business center in the Sierra foothills, according to Sierra Tel. It offered many basic business support services including in-house design, photo printing, office supplies and computer rental stations.

Sierra Tel provides internet, telephone, television and security services throughout eastern Madera and Mariposa counties.
