Bass Lake is ready to burst with activity 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. this Saturday, as area businesses hold an open house and celebration around the lake. It is the first time the lake has been full of water for years, and both residents and businesses at the lake consider it a good reason to celebrate.
Known for its warm waters and scenic views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada and Sierra National Forest, Bass Lake is a host to abundant recreational opportunities on and off the water, as well as lodging, various restaurants and shopping all located moments from the water’s edge.
Shopping, music, lake cruises on the Bass Lake Queen II, plenty of food, beer and wine, games and a poker run are all on the schedule, with a mini craft fair from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the gazebo lawn deck at Ducey’s on the Lake. South Gate Brewing Company from Oakhurst will provide its craft beers at the event.
Miller’s Landing Resort will have the band Rock Therapy playing at the gazebo Saturday.
Entertainer Billy Price will also perform 1 - 4 p.m. at The Forks Resort.
