The Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau gets a fresh start to 2016 with a new name, new website and new location. As the marketing arm for tourism in Madera County, the visitors bureau has recently voted to do business under the name of Visit Yosemite/Madera County.
“Madera County is home to a very diverse landscape, from the high sierra of southern Yosemite, to Bass Lake, all the way to the fertile valley. We are proud to represent this county and we wanted our name to reflect that,” said Rhonda Salisbury, CEO.
The Visitors Bureau also features a new and improved website that showcases the best of Madera County. The new site displays a user-friendly platform allowing guests to easily maneuver through it.
Whether they seek lodging accommodations, something fun to do or a great place to eat, guests will find exactly what they are looking for. Explore the new website at YosemiteThisYear.com.
Along with the newly-launched website, the Visitors Bureau recently debuted its new Visitor Center. Conveniently located in the “heart” of Oakhurst at 40343 Highway 41, just two doors down from the “World Famous” Talking Bear, its easy access, great visibility and convenient parking provides anything a visitor requires under one roof.
