From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 21, Highway 41 slightly south of the Road 200 intersection to O’Neals will undergo one-way traffic controls as crews clear dead pine trees from the area, Caltrans spokeswoman Gloria Rodriguez said.
Motorists are reminded to obey flagging personnel and pay close attention to tree removal equipment, and maintenance personnel in the area. The closure schedule is subject to change due to any unforeseen circumstances, Rodriguez said.
Delays are expected up to five minutes, Rodriguez said. Commuters are encouraged to avoid the area during work times, and use alternate routes.
One common alternate is, for southbound drivers, to turn east on Road 200, then follow Road 211 south to Road 145 back to Highway 41. The same route applies to northbound drivers, by taking Road 145 to Road 211, then west back to the highway.
