Victim identified in fatal Highway 41 crash

The Rockstar delivery driver who died after a wreck 1 p.m. Monday has been identified as 40-year-old Ramon Castillo of Fresno.

In a commercial delivery truck, Castillo was headed southbound on Highway 41 south of Road 416 near Chukchansi casino when he veered off the west side of the road and crashed down an embankment, thrown from the vehicle as it tumbled a few hundred feet.

Castillo suffered fatal injuries and was proclaimed dead at the scene. The cause of the wreck is under investigation by California Highway Patrol.

Coworkers of Castillo on social media mourned the loss of a man they described as one of the friendliest workers they’d ever known, and asked the public to pray for Castillo’s wife and children.
