Sullivan’s Tire Pros fundraising for cancer research

A movement is spreading across the United States by independent tire and auto repair shops to raise funds for breast cancer research.

For the Month of October, Sullivan’s Tire Pros (tires and auto repair) in Oakhurst, along with more than 100 other independent auto repair shops across the US are participating in the “Putting the Brakes on Breast Cancer” program, which provides free brake pads or shoes (up to $99.99), with the customer paying the labor and any other parts necessary to complete the brake service.

Sullivan’s will then donate 10% of the brake service directly to Dr. Vincent Touhy and The Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.

This year marks the fifth year for the fundraiser. Last year, 105 shops across 27 states raised $115,236 for the research fund.

Sullivan’s Tire Pros is owned by Mike and Diane Sullivan, and their team is dedicated to premier service, customer education, and community service.
