The Baker Swim Complex at Yosemite High School will open for the summer to public recreational swimming, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, June 6.
Once open, the regular schedule will be 1-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Cost is $4 per person ($3 seniors) before 5 p.m., and $3 after 5 p.m.
Water aerobics will be offered 9-10 a.m., Monday through Friday ($4 daily, $10 per week, $40 per month), and lap swimming will be available during recreational swim hours ($4 daily, $10 for week, $35 a month).
Session one for swim lessons for pre-school and school age children, at a cost of $109 per full session, will begin June 15 and run through June 26, and session two will runfrom June 29 to July 10th. There will also be two more full sessions and one half session later in the summer. Classes are held between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in 30 minute timeslots.
Tight fitting swim diapers are required for infants and toddlers.
The pool is available for parties during normal business hours. The cost is $140 and includes a personal party host, three hours of an assigned party area for 20 guests ($7.50 for each additional guest). Pizza or hot dogs/chips can be arranged at discounted rates.
Party times are 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Saturdays.
The closing date for public use will be Aug. 14. The swim program is run by Swim America.
