The 30th Annual Elegant Auction to benefit the Oakhurst Community Park will be held at 5 p.m., May 2, at Tenaya Lodge Fish Camp. The event remains the only fundraiser that provides necessary funding for the maintenance, new equipment and water for the park.

In honor of the 30th anniversary, this year’s theme is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” – providing an opportunity for guests to dress in their finest attire.

Guests will enjoy a gourmet buffet, complimentary champagne, and entertainment as they place bids on silent auction items.

The live auction, beginning at 8 p.m., will include get-a-way trips to Hawaii, Palm Springs, and Pismo Beach, along with original art work, jewelry, tree service work.

Two packages for the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite will be auctioned off, including Tenaya packages. The Ahwahnee Hotel packages include a two night stay, and tickets to the Chef’s Dinner.

“This year’s committee has come up with some great live auction items, like a VIP Oakhurst Christmas tree lighting experience, complete with a seat next to Santa Claus in the Station 12 Fire Engine as it arrives at that event,” said Andrew Pence, Oakhurst Community Park and Elegant Auction committee chairman.

Dancing will follow the live auction and special hotel rates, starting at $159 including breakfast for two, are available for those wanting to stay the night at Tenaya Lodge. Mention the Elegant Auction when placing reservations by phone.

Tickets are $45 when purchased in advance and $55 at the door. All tickets that are purchased online via the Facebook page, before April 25, will be entered into a drawing to win 100 free raffle tickets.

Tickets are also available at WJ Bradley Mortgage, Macaulay Insurance and Nemeth & Petrushkin, Ameriprise Financial.

To make a donation,or purchase tickets, contact Pence, (559) 658-7611, ext. 203, andrew.pence@wjbradley.com, or Facebook.com/ElegantAuction.
