District Attorney's Office hires new Supervising Deputy District Attorney

Madera County District Attorney David Linn announced the hiring of Angela Hill as Supervising Deputy District Attorney. Ms. Hill will supervise line level Deputy District Attorneys in all of the Madera County Superior Court departments.

“Ms. Hill year’s of experience as both a prosecutor and private attorney will significantly improve the functioning within the DA’s office,” said District Attorney David Linn. “I have brought her on board to work with line level deputies, insuring that justice was done. She is a well regarded attorney, an outstanding addition, and I am very pleased to have her join our team.”

Ms. Hill joins the District Attorney’s Office having previously served as a Deputy District Attorney for Madera County for 12 years, focusing on child sexual assault and domestic violence crimes. For two years, Ms. Hill was involved with the Madera County Drug Court program. Ms. Hill is a graduate of San Joaquin College of Law. Prior to law school, Ms. Hill graduated from the University of Washington.

Ms. Hill stated, “I am excited to be back serving the people of Madera County and working with local law enforcement again.”

This is the first new hire for the Madera County‘s newly elected District Attorney, David Linn, and is a major step forward in promoting seasoned prosecutors that have specific experience within Madera County’s criminal justice system.
