The Madera Wine Trail will host wine & chocolate weekend

Do something unique for Valentine's Day. On Feb. 14 and 15, the Madera Wine Trail will host its 13th Annual Wine & Chocolate weekend. Visitors can travel to 11 wineries and taste a wide variety of award-winning wines, sample gourmet chocolates, enjoy live music, shop from specialty gift vendors and indulge in delicious food from local restaurants. Wine Trail Weekend is the perfect time for visitors to experience Madera’s rich wine heritage and unique family wineries. Whether you’re new to wine or a connoisseur, there is something for everyone on the wine trail.

Visitors can expect a unique experience, a special “local getaway” for Valentine’s weekend. Winery tours, over 100 wine selections, art displays, heart-shaped pizzas, wine infused chocolate milk shakes and beautiful scenic views are just a few treasures guests will find around the wine trail.

Area household favorite musician, J.J. Brown, will strum rock and country tunes, playing for fans at Birdstone Winery in Fresno. Brown captivates his audience by sharing his personal stories about relationships, love, hardships, and everyday fallouts through his personable lyrics that are easily relatable for fans. His blended sound has been coompared to Hunter Hayes, John, Mayor, Keith Urban and Jason Mraz. He has shared the stage with artists like Clint Black, Peter Frampton and The Doobie Brothers.

Plan to taste and take home award-winning wines. Participating wineries will have a large selection of excellent wines to choose from, many with special pricing, as well as special Valentine’s gift packages that weekend.
