Two men behind bars following North Fork stabbing

Madera County Sheriff Jay Varney has announced the arrest of two men accused of stabbing a man Monday, Jan. 5 in North Fork.

Ray Allen Coleman, 21, and Gerardo Magdeleno, 19, both of North Fork, were captured roughly three hours after a 30-year-old man was reported to have been assaulted outside a residence off Road 222.

The victim, whose name is not being released, was airlifted from the North Fork Elementary School parking lot to a Fresno hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Meantime, Coleman and Magdeleno, who are both on probation, remain behind bars without bail.

The case remains under investigation.
