Yosemite High graduate missing in New Mexico

A Yosemite High graduate and former resident of Coarsegold, Token Adams, 41, is missing in the mountains of New Mexico.

Adams, a firefighter, used to work for the Bass Lake Ranger District and was a member of the Kings River Hot Shot crew.

He was working for the Forest Service when he and two other firefighters set out on ATVs Aug. 30 to investigate a fire, and Adams never made it back to the command post.

About 300 volunteers, search and rescue teams and firefighters have been looking for him. Adams has a wife, young son and a baby due soon.
