Car show benefits children’s hospital

Chamber of Commerce weather greeted all who came out to the Collector Car Appreciation Day Car Show in the Coarsegold Historic Village last Saturday.

The show, with more than 75 custom and restored vehicles, was presented by Coarsegold Car Car to raise money for Valley Children’s Hospital.

“We are so lucky to have Children’s Hospital so close to the Mountain Area to help all of our children with health care needs,” said Mike Sesto, coordinator of the event.

The car show award winners were:

Dare to be Different - Blaine Hall - 1971 Pantera.

Best Muscle Car - Lynell Edmisten - 1968 Mustang.

Best Hot Rod - John Zindrich - 1948 Plymouth.

Best Interior - Ed Pickering - 1932 Ford.

Best Paint - Jerry & Patty Privett - 1955 Chevy.

Best of Show - Al Gillespie - 1937 Ford.
