Golden Chain Christmas show Dec. 5-7

Everyone at the North Pole is waving as Santa starts on his trip around the world, but alas, he has to turn back because he is not feeling well.

The doctor at the North Pole suggests he go on vacation – somewhere where it is warm, away from the cold.

Santa starts off with Hawaii, but it is much too hot for someone who lives at the North Pole. Then, for a variety of reasons, his journey takes him to Ireland, then Holland, and finally Mexico.

Will he recuperate in time to get back to the North Pole and deliver all the toys? You’ll have to come and see for yourself.

The sparkling Christmas variety show features more than 20 elves, including the very youngest dancers in the Mountain Area.

With dances from each of the countries Santa visits, including the Grub Gulch Grannies, Grub Gulch Dancers, tiny tots, and Patti Law’s young dancers.

Directed and choreographed by Patti Law Poggi, the show plays at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Dec, 5-6, and 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec.7.

In support of the Mountain Area Toys for Tots drive, anyone bringing an unwrapped toy will receive $1 off their admission.

Tickets for the show cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (50+), $8 for children, and $6 for children.
