Sierra Meadows Golf Course will hold a liquidation sale starting at 10 a.m. this Sunday.
The last day of golf at the course is this Saturday. Course owners Charlie Sheldon and Reid Spice announced the closure in late September.
Sheldon and Reid bought the 142-acre golf course about four months ago, but made the decision to close the course due to a lack of golfers and increasing costs for water and staffing.
The remaining facilities will re-open next spring under a new name for conferences, retreats, and seminars.
The owners are currently investigating the feasibility of other uses for the 28 year-old golf course, including orchards or vineyards.
Sheldon and Spice will be selling a wide variety of items including golf carts, golf clubs, furniture, apparel, golf balls, gloves, shoes, mowers, and equipment.
