Women in the Mountain Area are being asked to “tee-it-up” Sept. 25 at Sierra Meadows Country Club to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Oakhurst.
The nine-hole tournament will have foursomes competing for fun and to support the club.
There will be several prize holes including closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, and a Vegas hole.
“It’s a great opportunity for women in business, and other women in the Mountain Area to get together, do something great for the community and have fun while doing it,” said event coordinator Stephenie Jewett of Moxie Salon.
The tournament will start at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start. Entry fees are $70 per player and includes the round of golf, a cart, and an awards lunch.
Tournament sponsors are Ameriprise Financial, Sierra Tel, Moxie Salon, and Artifacts.
