Margaret (Peggy) Eileen Taylor died Feb. 28, 2016 at the age of 87. She was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Carman, Manitoba, Canada to Ralph and Edna Woods.
A Mountain Resident for more than four decades, Mrs. Taylor was a registered nurse, employed as director of Nursing at Wish-I-Ah Lodge in Auberry for 18 years. She enjoyed taking walks, gardening, watching football, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, A. Vance Taylor; sons Greig and Sean Taylor, and son-in-law, Tom Blagg.
She is survived by her daughters Lori Grose and husband Dave of Woodland, and Kelly Blagg of Friant; her brother Bob Woods of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., March 21, at the Oak Creek Clubhouse, 46041 Road 415, in Coarsegold.
