Dwayne Wilson died Oct. 30, 2015, at the age of 82. He was born Jan. 18, 1933 in Reno to adoptive parents Kenneth and Charlotte Wilson, he soon made his home in Delhi.
Mr. Wilson enjoyed summer camping at Yosemite National Park, and later earned his rank as Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America.
After attending Modesto High School, Modesto Junior College, and San Jose State College, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1954, achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel after 22 years of service.
Mr. Wilson later moved to Oakhurst with his wife Elizabeth Sanguinetti, and ran a hardware store, before becoming a paramedic and truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth, and youngest son Stephen.
He is survived by his second wife Donna; son David and wife Carol of Colorado, son Michael of San Bernardino, and three sisters, Loretta Ozment of Pollock Pines, Bonita Wallers of Denair, and Jeannette Oliveira of Turlock, as well as one brother, Walter of Camarillo.
