A three-vehicle wreck south of Oakhurst and Victoria Lane on Highway 41 delayed traffic for about an hour Tuesday as crews cleared the scene.
Around 8:45 a.m., a male driver, in his 60s from Oakhurst, was northbound in a gold Toyota pickup when he told California Highway Patrol officers he drifted to the eastern side of the highway, then overcorrected and drifted into the southbound lane.
He then slashed across the driver side of a silver Dodge Caravan, and collided with a silver Toyota Camry around 150 feet down the highway.
The front end of the pickup was crushed and the vehicle likely totaled, while the Caravan suffered significant damage on the driver’s side. The Camry’s rear was damaged, but it appeared to be minor, though all three vehicles were towed.
The pickup driver complained of pain and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. The other two drivers, an elder woman in the Caravan and a middle-aged man in the Camry, both appeared to be uninjured.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the wreck, officers said.
The Highway was delayed for one-way traffic until about 9:45 a.m., when it was reopened in both directions.
