The Madera County Sheriff’s Office received 57 calls during the week of Jan. 22-28. Below is a sampling of those calls for the Mountain Area.
☆Jan 22: A deputy was dispatched to the area of Royal Oaks Dr and CA-41 in regards to a report of a lost wallet. A report taken for documentation purposes. Case closed.
☆Jan. 24: A deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Chapel Hill Drive regarding vandalism to water shed. No suspects at this time.
☆Jan. 24: A deputy made a traffic stop on Road 600 and CA-49 regarding expired tags. The driver had a suspended drivers license. The vehicle was towed and the driver was cited.
☆Jan 25: A deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA - 49 regarding an assault. A report was taken for documentation purposes only due to medical conditions by both parties. Case closed.
☆Jan. 25: A deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of Rd 426 at CA 41 which resulted in the driver being cited on vehicle code violations and the vehicle stored. Forwarded to the DA for charges.
☆Jan. 26: Deputies were dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a disturbance. The subject was located and arrested on 3 outstanding felony warrants. The subject was in possession of a crystal like substance. The subject was arrested.
☆Jan. 27: A deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Hwy 49 regarding a vehicle burglary. Report written, evidence obtained and the case was closed.
☆Jan. 27: A deputy was dispatched to John west Road and Jean Road, regarding a report of open community mail boxes. Mail was collected for safe keeping to be returned to the Post Office for Monday delivery. A report was written.
☆Jan. 22: Deputies responded to the area of the 36000 block of Teaford Poyah for a possible suicidal juvenile. Upon arrival it was determined that the juvenile was suicidal and she was placed on a W&I-5150 hold. The juvenile was transported to Valley Children's Hospital for evaluation.
☆Jan. 22: A deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 415, in regards to a welfare check. Upon entering the home the subject was found to be deceased. Notifications were made, statements were gathered, property was collected for safe keeping and a report was written.
☆Jan. 23: A deputy was dispatched to a coroners call in the 43000 block of Ranger Circle Drive. An investigation was conducted and it would appear the cause of death was natural. Report forwarded to chief deputy coroner .
☆Jan. 27: A deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the 29000 block of Yosemite Springs Parkway. A male juvenile was cited for driving unlicensed, and for being in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. The juvenile was turned over to his father. Case forwarded to the Madera County Probation Department.
☆Jan. 24: A deputy was dispatched to the 45000 block of Blue Willow Place regarding third hand information regarding domestic violence. The subject involved was contacted and denied being a victim. A report taken for documentation purposes. Case closed.
