Emergency sand bags for Mountain Area residents

According to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, emergency sand and sand bags are available for residents and multiple locations around the county.

At these locations, you must provide proof of residence and bring your own shovels.

The county will provide 10 bags per resident.

If you need additional sand bags, you may purchase them at a local hardware store.

Please note, some locations do not have sandbags. Consult the list below to verify where sand bags are available.
