Seventy-six years later, Quercia was present during the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District on Thursday morning. Two other survivors attended the ceremony, Navy veteran Charles Lishman, 97, and Marine veteran George Vandersluis, 101.
