Due to a conflicting paving project taking place just inside of Yosemite National Park entrance on Wednesday, Oct. 25, Caltrans one-way traffic control originally scheduled for Wednesday will take place 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26. The area affected is on State Route 41 about ½ mile south of the Yosemite National Park entrance. Construction crews will be performing slope repair and stabilization in the affected area. Expect delays up to 10 minutes, and depending on traffic volumes, delays may be longer.
Construction crews will be conducting one-way traffic control during this time with the use of flagging personnel and a pilot vehicle to escort traffic through the work zone. Commuters are reminded to obey flagging personnel, stay behind the pilot vehicle and pay close attention to road construction vehicles, and are encouraged to allow additional travel time or use alternate routes if possible.
