The Elk’s Lodge annual crab feed will be held 6 p.m., Jan. 16, at the lodge. There will be raffle prizes and a silent auction to benefit the Youth Activities Program.
The cost is $45 per person or $300 for a table of eight. The meal includes crab with linguini, salad, and garlic bread.

Coolwater Ranch will present a concert with Tony McManus, 7 p.m.., Jan 16. McManus has come to be recognized throughout the world as the leading guitarist in Celtic music. He has performed on five continents, and was recognized by the readers of Acoustic Guitar magazine.
In addition to his five solo albums, there have been many other collaborations, including the recent duo CD “Round Trip” with Italian guitarist Beppe Gambetta. McManus’ “Maker’s Mark” CD won universal acclaim in the rock press, where jigs and reels were previously unheard of.

Heart to Heart
The Heart to Heart Valentine’s project is in need of donations of valentines, and candies. The project entails students from Oakhurst Elementary School, hand crafting valentines that are delivered for the children at Valley Children’s Hospital.
The students made more than 600 valentines last year. Drop-off donation boxes are located at the OES office and at the Sierra Star.
