Fish Camp’s Tenaya Lodge will host its third annual Yosemite Wellness & Spa Retreat Jan. 15-18, featuring leading experts in the fitness, lifestyle and culinary fields.
“This year’s retreat will draw upon many well-received aspects of our past two events, and will also introduce some new and fresh activities,” said Heidi Clark, spa director at Tenaya’s Ascent Spa. “Attendees will have the opportunity to experience our all-new service menu at Ascent, as well as their choice of hikes, educational sessions, and a whiskey pairing dinner by Sous Chef Sheamus O’Rork.
Keynote speaker will be Abbie Kozolochyk, beauty and travel editor at Every Day with Rachael Ray.
A welcome reception will be held Jan. 15, and on the following morning, attendees will participate in yoga classes, educational workshops, and workouts with fitness pros and sisters Alexandra Williams, MA, and Kymberly Williams-Evans, MA, of Fun and Fit.
Attendees will have a choice of nature hikes with a variety of skill levels, and plenty of quality time in the 10,000 square foot Ascent Spa.
Special dinners are planned for Jan. 16 and Jan. 17 of the retreat. Chef Sheamus will team up with seasoned spirits pros to lead guests through a whiskey pairing meal, featuring five courses highlighting good-for-you ingredients, and local flavors to go with the selection of high-end 10, 12 and 15-year-old whiskeys from all over the world Saturday night.
Also, on Jan. 17, attendees will be part of an interactive pasta making class, where participants will learn to make their own noodles while helping Chef Sheamus prep for dinner.Monday morning guests will take a breathtaking waterfall hike.
Relaxation seekers can get the full retreat experience with a three-night retreat package, starting at $349 per night for single occupancy, and $449 per night for double occupancy.
