Students who wish to sign up for the Spring 2016 semester at Oakhurst Community College Center are invited to take part in an Extreme Registration event starting Dec. 11, which will serve as a one-stop shop for completing the registration process.
From 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, and from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Dec. 12, the main office of the Oakhurst center will be open for students to receive assistance from counselors, financial aid officers, and campus staff.
During the event, students can expect to have all of the following services available at one convenient location:
* Course selection and class schedule planning
* Complete registration for classes
* Academic counseling and advising
* Assessment testing
* Online orientation
* Financial aid
* Fee payment
All new students should complete the online admission application at least three days prior to the event. New applicants are also encouraged to complete online orientation before attending.
Both the application and orientation are available by visiting OakhurstCenter.com.
The Oakhurst Community College Center is once again offering a mix of day, evening, and online in-demand classes in English, math, science, and other general education required classes. The Oakhurst Center provides a great higher educational value at only $46 per unit. Students can choose between 13 degrees and six certificates which can be earned entirely by attending only the Oakhurst campus.
Most support services will also be offered to help students earn an associate of arts, associate of science, certificate, or transfer to a four-year university.
