Once again, the Coarsegold 4-H Club served up their delicious, ice-cold sno-cones at the 2014 Coarsegold Rodeo. Our booth was stocked with all the delicious sno-cone flavors such as watermelon, bubble gum, and the most popular flavor, tiger’s blood. We also serve mouth-watering cotton candy, various candies, and snacks.
Each year, the annual Coarsegold Rodeo has something for everyone. There is Heritage Days on Friday where all the kids from the local schools come and make pet rocks, shear lambs, make butter, and do other cool crafts and things that are all free. On Saturday and Sunday, there is a Pro Rodeo. The rodeo includes: mutton bustin’, barrel racing, calf roping, the beautiful Rodeo Royalty, and of course, those ruff-n-tuff bull riders. This year, the weather was perfect, the food was great, and the sno-cones were excellent.
The Coarsegold Rodeo is held every year on the first weekend in May. If you would like to be a vendor, sign up for mutton bustin’, or just need some more information, please contact the Rodeo Committee at 559-683-1952.
I hope you can come join us next year for some exciting rodeo fun and the Coarsegold 4-H Super Delicious Sno-Cones.
