The murder case involving two North Fork citizens has been continued until Friday, Oct. 18, at 8:30 a.m. in Departement 9.
Defendants Marc and Jennifer McMurrain are still in the hearing process. Following the testimony and evidence presented in the hearing and Hon. Judge Mitchell C. Rigby will make a decision on whether or not there is enough evidence to go to trial.
Detectives arrested Marc McMurrian on Thursday Sept. 5 on suspicion of murder and booked him on suspicion of killing his brother Christopher Garrity. Following the discovery of the Garrity’s body authorities arrested McMurrian's wife, Jennifer McMurrian, 32, on suspicion of accessory to murder.
Both suspects are being held at the Madera County Department of Corrections on a $1 million bail.
