Mr. Pike grew up in Coarsegold and Ahwahnee, graduating from Yosemite High School and Coarsegold Elementary.

The Madera Vintners Association will host the annual "Wine & Chocolate Weekend" Feb. 11 and 12. This two-day event is a special way to celebrate Valentine's Day with loved ones and friends while tasting award-winning local wines.
To help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Oakhurst, the 12th Annual Fresno Flats Ragtime and Vintage Music Festival will be held Feb. 10-12, featuring a number of performers.
