The public is invited to the tree lighting in the lobby of Tenaya Lodge in Fish Camp, Saturday, Nov. 29.
Children and adults alike will be thrilled with the sparkling lights and glittering ornaments as Tenaya decks the halls at the grand tree lighting ceremony. While munching cookies, sipping cocoa and rubbing elbows with Santa from 5 - 8 p.m., guests will marvel as the lodge’s towering, 35-foot tree is set aglow.
The Sierra Chamber Singers will perform from 5 - 6:30 p.m., followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree. Photos with Santa and more musical entertainment will occur from 7 - 9 p.m.
Tenaya’s ice skating rink will open on Nov. 26. The lodge will have plenty of hot cocoa, s’mores, and a roaring outdoor fire just steps away, from 4:30 - 6 p.m. on opening day.
Rink daily sessions are 9 - 11 a.m., 1-3 p.m, and 5-8 p.m. Costs per session are $15 for adults, and $12 for children 4-12 years of age. Day passes are available for $25 for adults, and $20 for children 4-12.
